About Us

The Skaneateles Vincent House Guild is a group of women with a heart for children in need.  Every year, as a committee, we raise money to support the Vincent House Neighborhood Center in the city of Syracuse.  This center offers a safe haven to children after school and during the summer months when school is not is session. The funds we raise are used to do several things, including:

  • Provide the financial means for Vincent House to run their Universal Pre-Kindergarten (“UPK”) program for an additional six weeks. A hugely beneficial poverty reduction strategy, the summer UPK program provides two healthy meals per day, access to resources and developmentally appropriate education in a fun, safe environment

  • Fund  summer programming that takes these children on weekly field trips to local parks, museums and beaches in the area.

  • Pay for all of the costs associated with running the center.  These things include staff, food, toys and utilities.

Our mission is to bring awareness to the great work that Vincent House accomplishes in the community. We invite you to join us this year at the annual cocktail party to celebrate and support this wonderful organization.
